In a living thriving desert there are flies, bees, spiders, rodents, squirrels, lizards, roadrunners, owls, snakes, bunnies, and coyote just to name a few. Making your guests aware that these insects, reptiles and animals are residents of the desert brings awareness and will assist them in their stay with you. Let your guests know that rodents occur naturally in the desert, they do no harm to humans.
Emphasizing the importance of keeping doors and windows closed to keep critters out is essential. An open door is an open invitation. Advise them to leave desert species alone, and the species will leave them alone.
